New Forest District Council Local Plan Review

New Forest District Council are currently undertaking a Local Plan Review. When finalised, the Local Plan Part One will set out their planning strategy, strategic policies and key development sites for the period 2016 to 2036 covering the district area outside of the New Forest National Park. During the first part of the consultation which ended in September 2016. The Parish Council actively sought the views of the local community and held two open meetings to listen to peoples views and encourage them to respond directly to the New Forest District Council. New Forest District Council are engaged in a dialogue with parties interested in developing the proposed sites and Hordle Parish Council has attended informal meetings with land owners / agents at their request. Parish Councillors will continue to engage with interested parties and will be going on a fact finding mission to Poundbury on March 27th.
